Donate to Philippine Flood Victims with Xoom

Xoom to donate 100% of money transfer fees for all donations sent to the Philippine Red Cross from August 8-10, 2012

Xoom has announced that it will donate 100% of the money transfers fees for all donations sent to the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) on Xoom.com from August 8-10, 2012.  Customers can visit  www.xoom.com/philippines to send a donation directly to PRC’s Peso or US Dollar bank accounts.

“Torrential rains in the Philippines has created some of the worst flooding there in years,” said Julian King, Xoom’s Senior Vice President, Marketing and Corporate Development. “In support of our Filipino family and friends, Xoom is here to assist the Filipino community by donating to the Philippine Red Cross.”

To make a donation to the PRC with Xoom, customers can follow these steps:

Step 1 – Sign up for a Xoom.com account, or sign in to your existing Xoom account.

Step 2 – Select Bank Deposit as the disbursement option.
